St. Thomas’ to be Honored at Samaritan Ministry Gala!

St. Thomas’ Parish will be honored at the October 28 Samaritan Ministry Gala with the “Outstanding Partner Award” for our engagement of time, talent and treasure!

Parishioners from St. Thomas’ who play a key role in the work of Samaritan Ministry include Dan Costello, president of Samaritan Ministry; Kurt Jacobs and Chris Norman, who serve as representatives of St. Thomas’ to the Samaritan Ministry Partner Council; and Carol Coonrod who coordinates the annual Gala and the Next Step Breakfast.

The Gala is a festive evening, with both a silent and live auction, abundant hors d’oeuvres, fine music by “After the Flood” and an opportunity to be with great people and celebrate Samaritan Ministry.

Samaritan Ministry is a faith-based community partnership — bringing together our neighbors who are dealing with being homeless, without a job, or challenged to return to society after time in prison and people of faith — in a shared ministry that improves and touches all of our lives.

Tickets are $100 and are available online.  Please see Dan, Kurt, Chris or Carol for more details.

We want St. Thomas’ to be well represented as we are acknowledged for being great partners with Samaritan Ministry!
